Post eum fuit collega Polydori, quorum simulatâ discordiâ Messenii post 20. ann. certamina debellati sunt. Annô enim 3. Olymp. 10. uterque Rex, Messenios iterum invadunt: pugnatum est aequô Marte, sed Messenii, calamitatibus oppressi Ithonem muniunt in eamque se recipiunt. Hinc Ithone petita, iterumque pugnatum, sed ab Aristodemo Euphais Messenii successore victi Lacedaemonii: qui proin ad astum se convertunt, suadente Pythiâ (oracula recitat Pausanias) ac Ithonem expugnant annô 1.
